This facility operates very conservatively....A/R units, hot sauce(chili) served on tiny disposable plastic containers(for leftovers) and no dinner napkins provided, instead the cocktail napkins !! The other ironic thing, a wasp was swarming around the window, mentioned it to the waitress-no action taken (we had to be on the alert that we did not get attacked). Only positive thing was food items: menudo, good & hot, homemade tortillas and small menudo at $8.00(which other restaurants only have the large menudo at $10). I was not pleased with my chorizo/egg taco, 'too' much egg, not even 50/50 chorizo/egg portion. Do not intend to visit this location again. (had problem locating business by name off Hwy 79/had to ask a customer in parking lot 'is this Zavalas'.

Best Picadillo Taco Ever! The barbacoa was epic too! Staff was so friendly and welcoming. A cute little gem tucked away on Taylor that has some amazing food!

Absolutely massive burrito but it was so good! Our service was so nice and they're very personable! Will come here every time we visit from out of town!

I ordered the quesadilla plate and was blown away by how yummy the flour tortillas are! You can't get tortillas that taste this good back in Houston! Plus the customer service was off the charts, the young server lady kindly warned me not to touch my eyes once I start eating the orange salsa !

my husband ordered the menudo and he said the menudo was super oily/greasy and it tasted a bit burnt. couldn’t eat it. he ended up eating off my plate. but overall my plate was delicious!! waitress was really nice and checked in on us frequently. service was excellent. even though the menudo wasn’t his favorite, we will continue being customers.

I have gone here before and absolutely love it here. The food is great and always hot and fresh. The service is always top notch, to the point even the girl at the register Delia helped when the waitresses were helping the other tables. This place is top notch and is always in rotation for good authentic Mexican food. I had their Menudo today and if that didn't take me back to my grandmother's house on Sunday mornings after church. Love this place!

The menudo was mediocre, too much hominy and very little meat. The potato and egg tacos were not appealing as they were separated. They have a sign on the door that says price of egg orders has increased, yet I had all potato and very little egg. At least give me what I'm paying for lol.
